BACKGROUND OF SIMON ARCHITECTURAL:

In 1950, Morris Simon founded the architectural and engineering firm, M. Simon & Associates, P.A. in New York. In 1974, Morris relocated the business to South Florida which has since been a staple in the architecture & interior design industry ever since.

After working as an architect in New York City, Morris's son, Richard, relocated and joined the family business in 1986 to what is known as Simon Architectural today.

Since then, he’s grown the firm’s brand portfolio to have a strong presence in the restaurant, hotel & retail franchise industries in which his commercial and residential projects are now located globally. In 2018, the Simon Architectural firm was invited & hand-selected to compete in the remodel and redesign of New York City’s Grand Central Terminal lower level.

Prior to Simon Architectural, Richard Simon started his career working in New York City’s Twin Towers. He's contributed to the successful restoration and remodeling of national historic landmarks including the American Stock Exchange, The Plaza Hotel, and the 69th Regiment Armory, where his designs are amongst the United States’ historical renovation archives.

Regardless of a project’s scope of work, Richard is known to routinely demonstrate strategic thinking by creating innovative build-out plans for a multitude of spaces that follow suit to his cohesive design systems.

He attributes his success through creating consistently memorable customer experiences for brands as an integral part of every client's design deliverables.
